The official newspaper “Umm Al-Qura” published the Saudi Cabinet’s approval of the governance of change requests for national strategies and their annex, which will be applied to the change requests for the nationalization strategy.
The newspaper, in its issue released yesterday, Friday, indicated that the Cabinet’s approval came after reviewing the treatment received from the Royal Court, which includes a letter from the Secretary of the Strategic Committee in the Council of Economic and Development Affairs regarding the project of governance for change requests for national strategies and their annex, which will be applied to change requests for the nationalization strategy.
Governance is distributed across several axes, including strategic orientation and strategy implementation. These axes are divided into various categories, with the most prominent being macroeconomic indicators, strategic objectives, review of key performance indicators, and initiatives.
Governance determines the relevant supporting bodies responsible for evaluating change requests based on the type of request. These bodies include the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Non-Oil Revenue Development Center, the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority, the General Authority for Statistics, the Digital Transformation Unit, the Digital Government Authority, the National Center for Privatization, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, the Localization and Payments Balance Office, and the National Center for Measuring the Performance of Public Entities.
