During the visit, the minister listened to a briefing about news services provided by the Ministry of Information. He took note of advanced technical tools and modern programmes endorsed by the ministry’s facilities to keep pace with the requirements of media action.
The Lebanese Minister gave a statement in which he commended the progress made by the Omani media, describing it as a model to be emulated in the Arab world. He said that Omani media constitutes an intellectual industry run by established Omani personnel who are well versed in integrating traditions in modern life. This, he added, highlighted the country’s aesthetic features in many ways.
The Lebanese Minister pointed out that his visit to Oman was aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in different media fields through the signing of memorandums of understanding between ONA and the Lebanese National Media Agency.
