“Oman and Zanzibar Strengthen Bilateral Ties: Focus on Economic, Cultural, and Health Cooperation”
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, has promoted 604 officers and non-commissioned officers in the General Fire Department across various ranks. This promotion comes as part of the support provided to the human resources of the General Fire Department, encouraging them to strive for further professional and practical development. These promotions aim to motivate them in carrying out their duties, boosting their morale, and ensuring they receive all their rights in accordance with the applicable procedures and regulations.
On another note, Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences announced the postponement of the lottery for Batch 48 officer cadets who have obtained their general secondary education certificate. The lottery, which was scheduled for yesterday, was delayed due to severe pressure on the electronic permit system, resulting in a technical malfunction and temporary suspension of confirmation messages. To address this issue, the date of the lottery for eligible applicants who meet the course requirements will be rescheduled to Saturday, July 8, 2023. This decision reflects the First Deputy’s commitment to transparency, fairness, equal opportunities for all applicants, and ensuring their presence at the public lottery.
