The Government Network of Chief Happiness and Quality of Life Executives reviews the achievements of the National Happiness and Quality of Life Program 2022.
Participants in the meeting of the Government Network of Chief Happiness and Quality of Life Executives discussed the updates of the National Quality of Life Survey 2022 and the importance of the role of executives and representatives in disseminating the survey and supporting projects and initiatives of the National Happiness and Quality of Life Program for the current year 2022. They also highlighted the efforts of entities and their latest achievements in enhancing the quality of life.
During the meeting, Amal Al Balushi, Head of the Quality of Life Team and Director of the National Happiness and Quality of Life Program at the Ministry of Community Development, emphasized the significance of the role entrusted to federal and private government entities represented by members of the Government Network of Chief Happiness and Quality of Life Executives in achieving success and desired goals of the second National Quality of Life Survey 2022. The survey aims to measure the quality of life among citizens and residents in the seven vital sectors of health, education, economy, security, justice, safety, infrastructure and housing, as well as human resources.
The meeting of the Government Network of Chief Happiness and Quality of Life Executives also discussed the efforts of the entities that won the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Government Excellence Award during the previous cycle.
The participants in the meeting heard distinguished experiences from several entities, including the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and the Digital Government Authority. They also learned about the Ministry of Interior’s experience in enhancing the quality of life for customers and the achievements of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in the field of innovation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation showcased its outstanding efforts in the field of happiness and quality of life and its achievements in this area during the past three years (2019-2022).
The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs presented its efforts under the title “Happiness and Quality of Life in the Work Environment: One Team, One Goal.” These efforts included numerous initiatives and achievements that promote job happiness and community quality of life.
The Government Network of Chief Happiness and Quality of Life Executives consists of 120 CEOs and 84 federal and local government entities across the country.
The National Happiness and Quality of Life Program holds regular annual meetings with executives to discuss the aspirations and directions of the country regarding the quality of life file. It also presents the latest updates of the National Happiness and Quality of Life Program, best government practices, success stories of entities, and acknowledges the outstanding efforts of network members.
This methodology reflects the leadership’s aspirations and the government’s directions to continue enhancing the quality of life in various fields, in line with the goals of the National Quality of Life Strategy, which forms the first decade “until 2031” of the journey of the fifty with its supportive vision of flourishing individuals, interconnected society, and advanced countries.
The network aims to achieve a set of goals, including aligning the plans, initiatives, and policies of entities with the Quality of Life Strategy, coordinating efforts with sectors and departments within each entity to launch strategic initiatives to achieve quality of life objectives, coordinating efforts to achieve assigned quality of life indicators for each entity, enhancing global competitiveness, and contributing to highlighting the quality of life file at the national level globally.
