The recent 27th Literary and Artistic Forum in Sur not only celebrated the richness of Omani creativity but also signified a robust and growing relationship between Japan and Oman.
One of the standout features of the forum was the exhibition showcasing the outcomes of the “Ryoma Manga Seminar,” held in September. This workshop welcomed renowned Japanese manga artists Yoshihiro Iwagami and Ms. Yuka Yamashita from Kochi Prefecture, Japan.
During the seminar, the artists delved into the creative process behind manga storytelling, encouraging participants to express their own creativity while gaining insights into this unique art form.
The Japanese manga and anime, which vividly depict aspects of Japanese life and culture, has resonated deeply within Oman. In this context, manga and anime have become vital tools for strengthening the friendship between the two nations.
