The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth today announced the names of winners of the 4th edition of the Children’s Culture Award 2024. The award aims to develop and enhance cultural and artistic innovation and motivate talented children to develop their potential.
The first place went to Aleen Majid Al Saidi for her topic featuring the importance of trees in biodiversity. Second prize was bagged by Rawqan Mahmoud Ahmed for success in highlighting the same theme. Third prize was awarded to Jassim Yaqoub Al Nakhaili (topic: “Do you like animals?”).
The three winners were among the top ten finalists in the “Talk so I can see you” competition, which targets children aged 7-12 years, as well as “Oman Speaks” competition, which targets writers and authors in the children’s segment.
The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Halima Rashid Al Zar’ee, Chairperson of the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED).
It is worth noting that the award will issue the third series of the competition’s outcome for this edition at the upcoming Muscat International Book Fair
