Muscat —
The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) have welcomed a fresh cohort of citizens for military training as part of their ongoing recruitment efforts.
The RAO has officially received a new batch of recruits who will embark on a basic military training programme after successfully completing a series of acceptance and evaluation stages, including rigorous medical and physical examinations. The Army is committed to utilising its resources—specialised human expertise, administrative support, and transportation facilities—to ensure a smooth and effective training process for these new soldiers. This initiative aims to equip them with the necessary skills to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s defence and honour.
In a similar vein, the RAFO has also admitted a new group of citizens following their successful completion of the requisite evaluations. These recruits will undergo the basic military training programme, preparing them to serve as air soldiers. The Royal Air Force has dedicated its resources and support to create an optimal training environment, continuing its commitment to enlisting and training qualified individuals for military service.
Both branches of the Sultan’s Armed Forces are steadfast in their efforts to recruit and integrate national talent, with the overarching goal of bolstering the capabilities of Oman’s military forces and serving the nation under the esteemed leadership of its Sultan.
