Bank Muscat Inaugurates a New Branch in Sahalnoot in the Wilayat of Salalah

MUSCAT,

In line with its strategy to enhance its branch network across the country, Bank Muscat, the leading financial service provider in the Sultanate of Oman, celebrated recently the inauguration of a new branch in Sahalnoot in the Wilayat of Salalah in the presence of H.E. Mohammed Hassan Al Ansi, Member of the Shura Council, Representative of the Wilayat of Salalah, senior officials from the Bank and a number of invitees. The new branch is located in Sahalnoot, which witnesses a significant urban growth and is characterised by a variety of commercial activities.

The Sahalnoot branch has a modern design and distinctive space that provides customers comfort while completing their banking transactions. It provides a wide range of financial services including personal, Sayyarati and Baituna financing, numerous types of cards, and a dedicated center for Asalah customers. Also, as part of the bank’s focus on improving access to persons with disabilities, the branch has installed access ramps, teller counters and ATMs, which are disabled-friendly.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulnasir N. Al Raisi, General Manager – Personal Banking, Bank Muscat, said: “We are pleased to see the ongoing expansion of the Bank’s branch network across the Sultanate and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to meet global standards. We believe that by enhancing accessibility, we will be able to provide a seamless banking experience while also meeting customers’ expectations. The inauguration of Sahanloot branch is a significant addition to our commitment to provide the best banking services possible, as well as an extension of our current branches in the Wilayat of Salalah and Dhofar Governorate in general. I would like to take this opportunity to emphasize the Bank’s keenness to enhance its branch network in accordance with the continuous developments in the sector in order to better serve its ever-growing customer base.”

Following the inauguration of Sahalnoot branch, there will be a total of 8 branches and service centers in the Wilayat of Salalah, and a total of 14 branches in Dhofar Governorate in general. These branches are distributed based on population density as well as economic and commercial growth in the Governorate. Considering its leadership position in the Sultanate of Oman, Bank Muscat has a total of 184 branches and over 870 touchpoints including Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and Full Function Machines (FFMs) installed across the country.
