The Sultanate of Oman has advanced 18 places In the Annual World Press Freedom Index 2024 issued by “Reporters Without Borders” organisation.
With new ranking, the Sultanate came at 137th place globally in this year’s index, achieving 42.52 points, compared to 37.87 points last yea , according to a report published on the occasion of World Press Freedom day.
