The State of Qatar chaired the 49th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Standing Committee for Combating Harmful Practices in International Trade, held in Doha with the participation of representatives of the committee’s member states.
The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by the Director of the National Product Competitiveness Support Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Saif Jassim Al Kuwari.
The two-day meeting discussed several topics of importance to protecting the GCC industry from harmful practices in international trade.
The progress of work on complaints of harmful practices, ongoing investigations, follow-up of the measures taken and a number of other related topics were also covered during the meeting. (QNA)
