The Ministry of Interior has secured the third position and the bronze medal in the category of ministries, and the Meritorious Achievement Medal in the Supporter Track of the “Accountability Pioneers” program. It is the only entity that achieved two medals within the framework of the Leadership Summit for Transitioning to the Accrual Accounting Basis, organized by the Ministry of Finance in Riyadh.
The Ministry of Interior aims to improve the quality of accounts, enhance transparency, and optimize the use of assets in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This is in accordance with accounting standards and policies for the public sector based on the accrual basis, compatible with international accounting standards. The ministry is focused on achieving goals and benefits to build financial information that supports decision-making.
